Why take a Permaculture Design Course?
|
Why take this Permaculture Design Course? We offer an innovative, practical and collaborative model:
1. Spread it out: meet one weekend a month for seven months. 2. Be adaptable by designing a different site each weekend whether urban, suburban, or rural as well as homes, businesses, institutions, farms, and neighborhoods. 3. Solve problems with diverse techniques. As we design, you will learn specific techniques and skills for working with soil, water, energy, waste, and materials. 4. Shared teaching. Meet experienced designers from around the state. 5. Collaborate. We will work in groups and learn from each other. 6. Set your own goals. Build on your own strengths, prioritize your own design principles, focus on improving your skill set, and render your own designs. 7. Whole-system’s design. Learn to synthesize beauty and function, intuition and analysis, being and doing, right and left brain, and art and science. |
